Walsall Academy - A Different Choice of School

The Walsall Academy Curriculum

The curriculum is divided into 10 modules throughout each key stage. Each module is 3/4 weeks long and provides opportunities for short term targets which allow students to improve standards. Each module has an assessment focus and at the end of each module, students and parents receive a short module report on students' progress. Most subjects are taught in 3 hour sessions with the exception of Modern Foreign Languages and Physical Education which deliver 1½ hour sessions. There is a ten session week for all students.

Additional sessions are arranged in Session 3, which include cultural, sporting, musical, performing and community activities available for all students.
