Appointment of Head (Required for September 2009)

The Governors of Walsall Academy invite applications for the headship of this over-subscribed and expanding 11-18 school as they seek a successor to Jean Hickman, who has led the Academy with great distinction since its conception and opening in 2003.

The Governors are determined to appoint an individual of the highest possible calibre to lead the school on to the next level of excellence, and will be prepared to consider candidates from a wide variety of backgrounds. A generous remuneration package is offered.
