Train to Teach with Walsall Academy

Walsall Academy, in partnership with West Midlands Consortium, train teachers via a variety of routes. We are enrolling for 2019.

Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Foreign Languages

Trainees of shortage subjects may be able to receive a tax free bursary of £26,000, plus 3 early career entry payments of £3,000 tax free, in the second, third and fourth year for Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Languages.

Biology and Computing

Trainees of these subjects may be able to receive a tax free bursary of £26,000 to train to teach with Walsall Academy.

English, History, Geography

Trainees can earn around £18,000 per year with training fees paid by Walsall Academy.
